I'm Brandi Narvaez — founder and principal of Brandi Narvaez Consulting, Inc., a boutique cybersecurity consulting practice I've led since 2007. Our work sits at the intersection of technical depth and executive leadership with focused business alignment. Together with my team, we help organizations understand their true risk exposure, build the programs and solutions to address it, and ensure executive awareness and alignment for the enterprise.
Clients are health systems, payers, organizations seeking cyber assessments and other regulated enterprises facing complex cybersecurity challenges — a post-acquisition integration, maturing a Security Operations Center, or an Identity Access or Governance transformation that's desperately needed. We step in as a strategic partner and hands-on program leader, bringing structure, credibility, subject matter expertise and results.

Additionally, its of great importance to give back, as such spending time volunteering every year to strengthen the cybersecurity field and support the people coming up in it is a priority!
Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) — Secretary, Sacramento Affiliate
Serve as Secretary for the Sacramento chapter of WiCyS, a national nonprofit advancing women in cybersecurity through networking, mentorship, and community. Supporting affiliate governance and events that connect and grow women in the field year-round.
HIMSS Annual Conference — Reviewer & Mentor
Each year, cybersecurity session proposals are reviewed for the HIMSS Annual Conference, helping shape the agenda for healthcare's leading industry event.
I also mentor rising professionals in healthcare cybersecurity, drawing on 20+ years leading security programs.
